Silvio will be demonstrating at Signal Point Gallery, Goolwa on Friday 6th August from 10.100am to 3.00pm.

Silvio’s SALA show will be held at Signal Point, Goolwa, from the 17th July till the 29th August. As part of the Festival he will also hold OPEN STUDIO on Saturday & Sunday the 14th-15th August and Saturday & Sunday the 21st-22nd from 12.00 – 5.00pm each day. Also participating will be sculptors John Nelson and Peter Syndicas.

Silvio is gearing up for his SALA exhibtion at Signal Point, Goolwa, opening on the 17th July.

After 8 months of intensive carving, Silvio is exhibiting at Bungendore Wood Works Gallery in Bungendore NSW near Canberra. Meet the Artist sessions on Saturday 14th November, 2.00-4.00pm

On Monday 9th November, Silvio was awarded his Medal of the Order of Australia at Government House, Adelaide, by the Governor, His Excellency, the Honourable Hieu Van Le.

Albert Silvio Apponyi was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for services to the visual arts as a sculptor.

Silvio is keeping busy in his studio and enjoying some floral arranging, inspired by the autumn foliage in the garden.

Silvio’s rotating sculpture “Spriggina” carved from Paris Creek marble has been installed near the cloisters at the University of Adelaide.
