ISSA, International Sculpture Symposium Alliance has invited Silvio to take part in its 2018 International Sculpture Symposium to be held in Tonghe, near Harbin City in Heilongjiang Province, China, from the 17th August to the 2nd September.  Also among those participating will be sculptors Luke Zwolsman from Queensland, Kemal Tufan from Turkey, Francesco Panceri from Italy and Liu Yang, a member of the ISSA organising committee, who all attended the Adelaide Hills International Sculpture Symposium and whose works form part of the Adelaide Hills Sculpture Trail.  Coincidently Liu Yang’s sculpture,

No. 22, “The Sculptors”, was installed in the Newenham Estate at Mt Barker on the 9th August.
